3. Observation of technology research
Narrative:
This lesson plan uses differentiated instruction with allowing groups to debate and have “civil conversation.” This allows for peer to peer learning and is student centered in its approach. The technology used will support learning by allowing students to have authentic topics that are relative in today’s world and that make connections in their community, state, and country which is what the Social Sciences are all about! It make take more then one class period to complete this lesson so I would probably allow for two full block periods in order to build on prior knowledge (scaffolding).
