Once you get to the “Dashboard,” click NEW POST (next to the green plus sign)
Now you’re ready to add your blog!
• In the Title box, type the lesson plan title. Remember to capitalize your title!
• Now you’re going to cut/paste your lesson plan. Highlight your lesson plan, right-click on it, then select “COPY.” Then right-click again to “PASTE” into the blog.
You will lose your formatting, so you will need to go back and fix it.
• BOLD-FACE the category titles, “author, grade level, timeframe, etc.”
• Make your Lesson Plan Title “Large Size.” Everything else needs to be “Normal.”
• Fix extra spacing so lesson plan looks consistent.
• Make the words “Differentiated Instruction” (from the gray box) Large Size.
• Use “italics” and color choices to make other areas look visually appealing.
When you think you’re finished…
• Click “Preview.” Review your blog carefully.
• If you need to go back and make changes, click “Hide Preview.”
• Give your post “labels” that describe your lesson plan. i.e. butterflies, life cycles
• Finally click “Publish.”
• Click “View Blog” to see posts you and your classmates have made!
• At anytime you can visit http://iupuiw401.blogspot.com/ to see and use any of these lesson plans with your students! Bookmark this website with your del.icio.us account or other bookmarking tool.
